HOW EXTENSIVELY HAS HALO BEEN TESTED?

This is a tough question to answer. The short answer is not enough. The longer answer is that it depends upon what part of the HALO system one is interested. The underlying theory of the organizational hologram has been applied and tested for 14 years. The HALO instrument has been evolving, tested, and retested since 1990 in over 64 applications. The Customized Organizational Inquiry and coding system rely on methodologically robust (since 1950) methods. There are 36 different organizations in our National Data Base and these come from a wide variety of organizations ranging from units of AT&T to a small optical manufacturer, from a university research group to a large Protestant church, a robotics facility in Colorado to a service corporation in Princeton, and from a California to a New Jersey pharmaceutical. Some organizations have been large and others small. The methods have been applied to individuals of diverse educational backgrounds from Ph.D. scientists to union members. Therefore, one could argue HALO has been extensively tested.

However, as a system of leadership assessments delivered over the web, HALO is fairly "green." It is always good to subject such a system to tests, keep making improvements and then test them, in an unending sequence. We believe thatHALO is ready for use and have proven it. It is important to remember that HALO existed long before HALO. HALO is basically a better more efficient means for conducting organizational diagnoses. But, we are also sure that HALO will continue to evolve. Each incremental change will require more testing. This is our commitment to ensuring high quality and providing the best possible science.
